17’x32′ Kentucky log house
Mid 1800s log house originally from Kentucky’s Red River Valley. This cabin is 14′ tall, and is built from LARGE old growth half dovetailed poplar and chestnut logs with some up to 20″ faces. Remarkable hand-cut sandstone chimneys! Numerous openings on the front and back; interior log partition wall through the center that could remain or be used for borrow logs. This log house was extremely well built and will be a showplace again.
