NOTES
Rare German built 'piece-en-piece' structure in completely original condition!

Located 1/4 mile from the Historic Mary Ann Furnace, where Civil War cannon balls were made, and 20 miles west of Gettysburg, stands this beautiful piece of historic architecture.

The logs have been protected over the years by single overlap German siding.  Logs are hand hewn and 6" thick.  They are nicely mortise and tenoned to the uprights and the 45 degree knee-braces.

Included are 3 floors of quarter sawn white oak tongue-in-groove flooring, 9 interior doors with hardware, 3 exterior doors, two staircases, original joists, rafters and other components.  There is also a 5 1/2' x 7' smokehouse with German siding and a cedar shake roof included.

Carefully documented, cataloged and dismantled, all contents, and replacement timbers are stored in an enclosed 45' trailer (included), and ready to be shipped to your build site.

Old Log Cabins restored a house similar to this last year and two of those photos are shown here.
